The aims of the Robert Dover Games Society will be:

1. To perpetuate and promote the historical tradition of the Dover’s Games.
2. To raise awareness of Chipping Campden and Dover’s Hill AONB and to promote business and tourism in the local area.
3. To bring together and foster understanding amongst the people from Chipping Campden and surrounding communities.
4. To promote local recreational activities and cultural activities.
5. To generate enough revenue through the Games, associated fundraising and merchandising activities to support the above objectives and ensure the financial stability and continuity of the games
6. In the event of a sustainable surplus being generated and in the event of the above objectives being met, provide funds for local and national charities.
